The arc, and the story.
A good rocking chair gives you two things: the gentle arc of the rocker, and the stories that happen in it. That's our name, and it's the whole idea.
One chair, every question answered.
Most nursing chairs are chosen from a photo, and found out later. The back that stops just below your head at two in the morning. The seat that feels fine in week one and flat by month four. The rocker that needs more room than the corner you'd measured.
None of that shows up in a product photo, and all of it can be measured. So instead of a range, we started with one chair, and set out to answer every question about it before you have to ask.

Why "Arc & Story"
The arc is the curve of the rocker under the chair — in our logo, it's the only touch of warm colour. The story is everything that happens in the chair once it's home: the first feeds, the first picture books, the quiet evenings after everyone else is in bed.
We chose the name because a nursing chair shouldn't be finished when the feeding is. It should still be the place for stories years later, and then a reading chair of your own.
A chair for awake moments.
